Associate Professor Sunil Badve

A/Prof Sunil Badve is a staff specialist nephrologist at St. George Hospital, Sydney, Senior Research Fellow at the George Institute for Global Health and Conjoint Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of New South Wales. His medical education has been at the University of Mumbai and the University of Ottawa. He also has a PhD from the University of Queensland. He is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology.
His primary research focus is in clinical trials, meta-analyses and epidemiology, particularly in progression of chronic kidney disease, anticoagulation and treatment of cardiovascular disease in chronic kidney disease. He is the co-lead of the CKD-FIX trial, and principal investigator of the TRACK and PHOSPHATE-ANZ trials. He has published more than 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
