Record $24 Million For Cardiovascular Disease Research

The George Institute has been given $24 million by the Australian Federal Government to target the world's biggest killers - stroke, heart disease, diabetes and chronic kidney disease. The funds will benefit hundreds of millions of people globally, including patients like grandmother Lorraine James who met with The Hon Greg Hunt, MP, Federal Minister for Health, who announced the grant from the NHMRC.
