Gian Luca has a PhD in Health Economics, a MPhil/PhD in Medical Statistics and a MSc in Data Intelligence and Decision Analyses. He is an Accredited Statistician (AStat) of the Statistical Society of Australia and Chartered Statistician (CStat) of the Royal Statistical Society (UK). He has twenty years of experience in applied statistics, clinical trials methods, statistical methods for economic evaluations and systematic reviews and meta analysis.
He is the Chair-elect of the Statistical Methods in Health Economics and Outcomes Research Special Interest Group of the ISPOR - The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Statistical Editor of two Cochrane groups, the Breast Cancer and the Consumer and Communication Review Group.
