NAIDOC
The George Institute holds an annual NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) event for our staff to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements.
The annual event provides an opportunity for TGI staff and the wider community to come together to share and learn about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture in an inclusive and welcoming environment for all. The event is put together by the NAIDOC working committee who put together an event to reflect each year’s NAIDOC theme.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health is a major priority area of The George Institute, and the annual NAIDOC event puts a spotlight on the work being conducted through our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health program.
