PhD Scholarship Opportunity: Treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease
Funded by Renal Division, The George Institute for Global Health, we have an PhD scholarship opportunity available to support research in chronic kidney disease and their treatment.
The project will involve identifying treatment gaps in healthcare of the condition, and developing an interventional trial to address these treatment gaps. The project will allow the PhD to gain experience in both research implementation and dissemination and will work with a wide range of national and global stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work with large, well established internationally renowned research teams.
Applicants must have completed an Honours and/or Masters Degree in Public Health, or a medical specialist qualification in Kidney Disease. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
The scholarship is for a period of one-year, renewable based on satisfactory progress, for the amount of $30,000 per annum. The George will also provide supported in the application for competitive scholarship funding.
