Martyn Ralph

Project Systems Officer

Martyn is a Project Systems Officer in the Executive Directors Office at The George Institute. His work promotes the implementation of an online Learning Management System for project staff, as well as increasing greater collaboration across the Cardio metabolic group and support for their programs.

Originally joining The George Institute’s Injury Division in 2015 Martyn has worked across a number of projects. His work has primarily focused on the evaluation of a child car seat program targeted towards Aboriginal families across 12 communities in New South Wales, and contributed to the large-scale evaluation of a third party insurance support service provided to police officers with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Martyn has a background in international development. He has a Masters degree in Development Studies from the University of Sydney, and has also worked with the Fred Hollows Foundation.  Prior to his role at The George Institute, Martyn lived and worked in a remote community in Central Australia for the Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation. This experience has defined Martyn’s interests and passion for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community development through effective policy development and health research.
