KaWing is a visiting scholar who will be at the George Institute for Global Health, China for one year. He received his Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology at Yale University and worked at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center in New York City's Chinatown as a Pediatric Health Educator after graduation.

He is currently a fourth year medical student from Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons in NYC, but is spending a year pursuing his interests in public health and China. At the Institute, he is currently involved in the China Rural Health Initiative, the SimCard study, and a medical student lifestyles seed grant project.
