The National Centre for Chronic and Non-communicable Disease Control and Prevention of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCNCD, China CDC) and The George Institute for Global Health, Injury Division, have signed an expanded Memorandum of Understanding in Sydney that is set to shift the way the two countries manage and treat the burden of injury and chronic diseases throughout the region.

A review of almost 50,000 Australian packaged foods has found the Health Star Rating (HSR) system provides sound dietary advice on more than 97% of products.

Congratulations to the two most recent graduates of The George Institute’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Program, Dr Anne-Marie Eades and Dr Caroline Lukaszyk, who both graduated with PhDs as part of the University of Sydney’s graduation ceremonies on 30 April 2018.
