
Research Assistant - Food Policy
The George Institute's Food Policy team works to address the issue of poor diets by undertaking research and advocacy in relation to the food supply including monitoring the composition of foods. The Food Policy Division has been designated as a World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Salt Reduction (WHO CC (SALT), who's aim will be to provide expert advice to WHO on development of tools for population salt reduction strategies and to undertake research and build research capacity in all aspects of salt reduction.
We are currently seeking a motivated Research Assistant to support the research and advocacy work of the WHO CC (SALT) as well as being responsible for the administrative responsibilities associated with the Centre.
