We are looking for a Research Assistant to work on a casual basis within our FOCUS (Falls Risk & Cataract) and Cataract Outcomes Studies in the Injury Division.
The aim of the Injury Division is to conduct high quality research into the causes, prevention and treatment options for various kinds of injury. The primary focus of research is in unintentionalinjuries. We have a strong research program in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander injury prevention, falls prevention, and injury burden and risk factors. The Injury Division has primary responsibility for the conduct of the Institute's research activities in these areas. The Division also offers opportunities for individuals external to the institute to expand their knowledge on injury prevention through an array of teaching and training programs.
This position will work across the assessment sites (Sydney Eye Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Bankstown Hospital) as well as some work at the Bridge Street Offices. You will be required to undergo a National Criminal History Record Check. The successful applicant must also be able to provide details of vaccination history and undergo vaccination updates according to NSW Health policy if required.
