About the role
The George has ambitious philanthropic goals and will soon embark on its inaugural fundraising campaign to address global health inequality. To achieve this goal, we need to build a team of exceptional fundraising professionals and a community of donors who want to partner with us to tackle these challenges together.
Reporting directly to the Development Director, Australia, the Development Manager, Major Gifts will generate major gift income from Australia based high net worth individuals. You will manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects to understand their passions, engage them in our work and develop compelling proposals that align with their interests. You will be skilled in strategic relationship management, enjoy developing ideas and strategies to maximise our philanthropic potential and be able to develop a clear plan to achieve your targets. Finally, you will share our passion to help us improve the lives of millions of people worldwide.
