Katherine is a PhD student in the Injury Division at The George Institute for Global Health, UNSW Sydney, and The University of Sydney. Her research investigates health outcomes in older people following non-catastrophic road transport injury.

Katherine has over fourteen years’ experience in health data management, including analysis and interpretation of admitted patient, population health, performance, clinical and administration data.

Katherine also has several years’ experience in trauma registry data management and is an accredited Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) coder. Katherine has a clinical background in Allied Health (Orthoptics) and holds postgraduate qualifications in Health Information Management and Clinical Epidemiology.
