Professor Catherine Sherrington
Cathie is an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow at The George Institute and at the University of Sydney. Her research focuses on the design and evaluation of exercise programs for the prevention of falls and disability in older people. Recent and current studies include clinical trials, systematic reviews and cohort studies.
Cathie is a Chief Investigator for four current NHMRC Grants. Prior to completing her PhD and Masters of Public Health Cathie was a clinical physiotherapist in aged care and rehabilitation.
