Belinda Ford is a PhD student with the Injury division. Belinda’s PhD adopts a health systems research approach to evaluate health care services and access for patients with chronic eye disease. Belinda has played a key role in the design, implementation and evaluation of the Western Sydney Community Eye Care (C-EYE-C) model of care as both a project manager, and through her PhD studies.
Prior to starting her PhD, Belinda has worked in a variety of research and service delivery roles with a focus on chronic and infectious, infectious disease, Aboriginal health, and primary care. Belinda has collaborated with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) to design and conduct research projects which address the local needs and priorities of the community.
